In June 2025, Fulmer & Company introduced our new Employee Recognition & Reward Program, created to celebrate and honour the dedication, excellence, and community-minded spirit of team members across our major business units - Western Restaurant Franchises Inc., BBS Pro, and Goodly Foods.

The program is built on our values of professional excellence, innovation, integrity, collaboration, and community engagement, and introduces a fresh, year-round approach to acknowledge the everyday moments and extraordinary contributions that define who we are.

The program features three levels of recognition—including “Caught Doing Great” instant acknowledgements, the Award of Merit, and the Award of Excellence—each celebrating outstanding contributions, exceptional performance, and inspiring leadership.  Whether it’s delivering exceptional guest service, demonstrating technical expertise, supporting food safety and quality, strengthening teams, or contributing to the communities we serve, our employees set the standard across every corner of our organization.

This is more than a recognition initiative—it’s our commitment to celebrating the people who drive our success and embody the spirit of Fulmer & Company.

In her first year as Associate Franchisee, she tackled longstanding challenges head-on. Thanks to her commitment to people and culture, the store has transformed into a welcoming, high-performing workplace where team members feel valued, communicate openly, and take pride in their work. This cultural turnaround has strengthened both team morale and business results, making Manjul truly deserving of this recognition.

Her impact on both culture and performance makes her truly deserving of the Award of Merit.

Jasmeet Jasmeet, a WRFI Associate Franchisee of the Stonebridge A&W location in Saskatoon, has consistently demonstrated innovative leadership in community engagement and restaurant promotion, driving both sales growth and outstanding guest satisfaction. Her efforts led to an extraordinary achievement in the recent Burgers to Beat MS campaign, raising $17,146—an increase of 180% over 2024. Award of Excellence 2025

We are proud to recognize Marie Dejon-Cruz, who manages the Franklin Ave and Thickwood Boulevard A&W locations in Fort McMurray, for her outstanding leadership in community engagement. With the support of her sister Maria, Marie has developed and grown a series of initiatives that have become widely appreciated and highly visible within the community. These efforts have earned recognition not only from guests but also from local business and civic leaders, shining a spotlight on both Marie’s leadership and the positive presence of A&W Restaurants in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Marie’s influence extends beyond her own locations. She has actively supported several Associate Franchisees in launching their own versions of successful events—such as Autism Day and Friendship Day—helping others build meaningful community connections. Her creativity, generosity, and commitment to strengthening relationships make Marie a true ambassador for our brand.

Her leadership is both inspiring and deeply worthy of recognition.
